“The most beautiful clothes that can dress a woman, are the arms of the man she loves and adores. But for those who haven’t had the fortune of finding this happiness, I am there.”

Same here, Alexander McQueen. If it weren’t for dreams, I’d have an even harder time getting dressed each day.

“I want a soul mate who can sit me down, shut me up, tell me ten things I don’t already know, and make me laugh. I don’t care what you look like, just turn me on. And if you can do that, I will follow you on bloody stumps through the snow. I will nibble your mukluks with my own teeth. I will do your windows. I will care about your feelings. Just have something in there.”

"Hartley and his fellow band members continued to play as the Titanic sunk, in order to keep the passengers and crew calm. When the last lifeboats had been loaded, the musicians grabbed the railing on top the Grand Staircase’s deckhouse, and Hartley said this farewell to them just before a wave hit and washed him overboard."

Found this website up on the iPad at work a couple weeks ago and started fishing around. I don’t know, maybe it’s weird, but I find Hartley’s act and his last words to be so inspiring and words of a great hero. I have this saved on my phone and every time I look back on it, my heartless/feelingless self is overcome with emotion.
And to make this non-mushy, titanic is the worst movie i’ve ever seen and why the hell was it re-released? gah. 4.5 hrs (or whateva) of my life that i’ll never get back.
Wallace Hartley though, he was the man.
